StarMaker is a new type of application for Windows that lets the user make unlimited photos using their cell phone. By downloading the StarMaker Android app to their Android device, users will be able to print directly from their cell phone and share their own photo collages directly to other people. The StarMaker application lets a person simply touch and press different objects on their screen in order to make the object appear on the display. From this the user can drag their phones on to any of the collages that they are printing, which are then instantly printed off. Users can also use the StarMaker software to share photos that have been printed by people they know. Since users are able to share their photos with anyone they know, they can go out and grab the camera and start taking photos.
The StarMaker free version is extremely simple to use. Once the application is downloaded onto the computer, it is simply a matter of using the USB port on the back of the computer to connect the app to the computer. Once connected, the app will run in the background of the computer and will allow a person to create unlimited photos. Users can either choose to choose a custom photo collage, or have the program choose the best possible photo that will print on their printer. Since all of the photos are stored on the computer instead of being permanently on the phone, there is no risk of losing photos once the phone is turned off.
As previously mentioned, the StarMaker application is available online for anyone to download. It is not clear whether or not the company will continue to offer this application for free, or if it will charge users in order to download it. Some users are disappointed that the company is trying to raise funds by selling the application for a fee. However, the company is still testing the application with a limited number of users. In the end, it will be up to users whether or not they will be willing to pay a fee in order to download the StarMaker software.
